About you:

As a member of our Sales Team, you will focus on new clients with 100 or more employees. This role includes sales process optimization, consultative and advisory meetings, and providing precise and accurate communications to all interacting departments. Sales works closely with internal and external stakeholders to ensure the appropriate objectives and priorities are met within the organization. You will need an in-depth knowledge of internal/field sales, strategic marketing, prospect generation and business processes. Our Sales team is supported by internal teams of underwriters, health coaches, benefit and technology specialists, and risk
management/cost containment advisors that provide support throughout the entire sales process.

The ideal candidate has 5+ years of documented success securing new business, through direct contacts and channel sales, high-performance sales ability and an in-depth understanding of how to make connections with prospective clients. Compensation for this role is commission-based, with unlimited compensation opportunity.


Your impact:

  • Sales Execution – From lead-generation-to-close with prospective clients; securing new
    clients covering more than 100 employees; expediting time to value by strategically aligning with appropriate channel partners.
  • Sales Forecasting – Deliver precise and accurate sales forecasts.

You will be successful in this job if you have:

  • 5+ years of successful sales experience

What would your day look like?

This is a key and growth-oriented position in our organization. Along with comprehensive training, you will initially work alongside a senior member of the team to enhance and accelerate your learning experience. Eventually, you will be assigned to your own group of clients and a client management team. You and your team will be responsible for working with the senior management of your clients in developing employee benefit and risk management strategies.

Being a strong team player is critical for success, as you will constantly be collaborating with the rest of your team. You will also serve as an advocate and trusted consultant to your clients and their employees through positive relationships with carriers and continuous education on industry trends.


Each day, you could expect to do the following for your clients:

  • manage multiple clients and meet tight deadlines
  • review the carrier proposals for accuracy and competitiveness. Present financial and
    cost containment strategies to client C-Suite and Human Resources
  • plan and strategize with outside vendors
  • manage monthly strategy meetings with clients regarding employee benefit plan
    performance and wellness goals
  • confidently lead meetings and discussions with client executive team
  • utilize multiple technology platforms
  • collaborate with AHW team members to support your client’s goals
  • maintain knowledge of new developments or changes with insurance carriers and
    federal/state laws that may affect your clients

We are growing our strategic pharmacy presence by seeking an experienced pharmacist that will lead and advise clients how to manage their pharmacy spend with financial evaluations, plan design review and placement, benchmarking and specialty drug strategies. We are heavily focused on driving down prescription costs and delivering significant savings to our clients through straight-forward pricing models. Knowing that there is not a one-size-fits-all approach to prescription costs, we evaluate several PBM’s to deliver the best solution to our corporate clients. We know that specialty pharmacy continues to be a significant pain point for most employers and continually search for innovative strategies that produce significant savings.

What would your day look like?

Job Responsibilities Supporting the Account Management Team:
