At American Health & Wellness, we are not your average benefits broker. We believe it is our job to help improve the health and well-being of employees to reduce healthcare costs for our clients.

My name is Paige and as the Director of Wellness Programs and Services, it is my job to design and implement wellness strategies that fit the vision and culture of leadership.

Despite offering a myriad of wellness programs and services, we noticed that one of our clients was not seeing the desired employee engagement that we typically experience and have come to expect. This organization had a large portion of early adopters to the wellness program, but needed a solution to engage those employees that were reluctant to get involved.

Our health coaches worked together to develop a solution that created leadership opportunities and a higher percentage of engagement. This became The American Health & Wellness Ambassador Program. This initiative involves highly engaged employees to be the organization’s wellness champions.

Our Health Coaches and Account Managers work closely with the Ambassadors to ensure the wellness program is effectively communicated throughout the entire organization and blend seamlessly into their company culture. In addition, all the ambassadors get together as a group quarterly to discuss strategies that other companies may be using. As the saying goes, “Alone we can do so little; together we can do so much”. Since adopting this program, our clients have experienced a 21% increase in employee participation.
